Pocket Leadz facts
Pocket Leadz is lead capture and follow up software for US real estate agents and loan officers. When a new lead arrives from a Facebook or Instagram lead ad, a website form or a link in bio page, it answers by text and email within seconds, alerts the owner's phone, and follows up by text and email until the lead replies or books a time. It was built by Ross McFarlane, a working mortgage broker, for his own business first.

Who it is for
Agents, loan officers and small teams who bring in their own leads, from their own ads, forms and pages, and lose some of them because nobody answers fast enough. It also has starter flows for Australian agents and brokers. It is not built for large brokerages or lenders that need one system for every part of the business.
What it does
- Takes leads in from Facebook and Instagram lead ads (direct connection), website and landing page forms, a Zapier or Make connection, its own link in bio page, and spreadsheet or contacts file imports.
- Reads each Facebook lead form's name and gives its leads the matching tag and follow up flow, so different ads get different messages.
- Sends the first text and email within seconds of a lead arriving, inside the texting hours you set, in the lead's own time zone. A late-night lead's text is held until morning.
- Runs follow up flows with text, email and call task steps. Every account starts with a written flow for its kind of lead, which you edit and switch on.
- Stops the follow up by itself when the lead replies, books a time, answers a call placed through the app, has a call logged, or reaches the board column you choose.
- Sends a push alert to the owner's phone for every new lead and reply.
- On the Team plan, rotates new leads between reps. A repeat inquiry from a known phone or email goes back to the person who already owns the lead, and if they are already talking, or it is a past client, nothing automatic is sent.
- Two-way texting, with replies in one inbox and on the lead's card.
- A booking page with booking types, synced both ways with Google Calendar or Outlook, with text and email reminders.
- Calls from the app through your own number, and an optional automatic call that rings the rep and then connects the new lead.
- A missed call to your business number creates a call-back task and alerts the owner. It does not send an automatic text back.
- A review request button on won leads, an email designer, a pipeline board, tasks, notes and reports.
- A link in bio page and a video editor for short social videos.
- A phone app for alerts and working leads away from the desk. The get the app page lists where it is available.
What it does not do
- No IDX website or listing search, and no MLS connection.
- No transaction management.
- No loan origination system (LOS) or point of sale (POS) connection, no loan file, no document collection portal and no loan milestone tracking.
- No mortgage compliance engine. It helps with consent records, STOP handling and sending hours, but does not make anyone's texting or calling legally compliant.
- No call recording.
- No AI chatbot. An optional reply helper, when switched on, sends your booking link back to a clear yes and connects a call when a lead asks to be called. It never answers questions; for those it leaves a suggested reply on the card for a person to send or not.
- No in-product US texting registration. You register your business through your own Twilio account, with a walkthrough.
- Does not sell leads or run ads for you.
- No white label or reselling.
What you connect
- Texting: your own Twilio account (US and international) or Mobile Message (Australia). Texts and numbers are billed by them at their rates; Pocket Leadz adds nothing. For US numbers, the carriers must approve your business before texts are delivered, which normally takes several days and is their decision.
- Email: your own Gmail or Outlook (each rep can connect their own), or your own domain through your own Resend account. Gmail and Outlook cost nothing extra within their daily sending limits; bigger sends need a Resend plan, billed by Resend.
- Facebook and Instagram lead ads: connect your Facebook Page from Settings.
- Calendars: Google Calendar or Outlook.
