Pocket Leadz vs BNTouch for Loan Officer Lead Follow Up
BNTouch is the better choice if you want one mortgage CRM for the whole borrower life cycle, with LOS sync, a point of sale app, hundreds of pre-built campaigns and texting registration handled for you. Pocket Leadz is the better choice if your problem is the first minute with leads from your own Facebook ads and forms, and you want each one answered within seconds by a flow the form picks, for less, with a free trial. Pocket Leadz has no LOS or POS connection.

Who each one is for
BNTouch
Loan officers, brokers and lenders who want a mortgage-specific CRM covering leads, borrowers in process and past clients. BNTouch was founded in 2004 and lists LOS sync with Encompass, Calyx, BytePro, MeridianLink and LendingPad, plus a point of sale with mobile app.
Pocket Leadz
Loan officers who run their own ads or pages and lose leads in the gap before the first conversation. Pocket Leadz answers each lead within seconds, rings the loan officer's phone and follows up until they reply or book.
What happens in the first minute
BNTouch connects to Facebook natively: you pick the page and lead form and BNTouch handles the sync. It advertises more than 400 pre-built mortgage campaigns, and a Facebook lead enters one when you build a trigger for it, for example when the source equals Facebook.
In Pocket Leadz, each Facebook form's name picks its flow without a trigger to build, so a VA Loans form gets VA messages and a Refinance form gets refinance messages. The first text and email go out within seconds in the lead's own time zone, the loan officer's phone gets a push, and the flow continues with texts, emails and call tasks until the lead replies or books.
After the lead becomes a borrower
This is where BNTouch does far more. With LOS sync and a POS included, it can follow a borrower from application to close and on into past-client marketing. Pocket Leadz stops at the front of that journey: capture, follow up, booking and the pipeline. If you need the rest in one system, BNTouch or a similar mortgage CRM is the right tool.
Side by side
BNTouch's column is taken from the sources at the foot of this page. Where we could not confirm something on BNTouch's own pages, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Where BNTouch is the better choice
- You want LOS sync and a point of sale in the same system as your CRM.
- You want hundreds of pre-built mortgage campaigns, including past-client marketing.
- You want US texting registration handled for you.
Where Pocket Leadz is the better choice
- Your main gap is speed on new leads from your own ads, not the loan file.
- You want each Facebook form to start its own flow without building triggers.
- You want a lower monthly price and a free trial: Pocket Leadz Solo is $79 a month.
- You want a booking page and phone alerts included.
Using both
A loan officer could use Pocket Leadz to answer and book new ad leads, then move borrowers into BNTouch when they apply. Pocket Leadz sends a lead out through Zapier or Make when it arrives, not when it applies, so either let leads land in both with BNTouch's new-lead campaigns off, or add borrowers to BNTouch by hand at application. Test with a dummy lead first.
