Pocket Leadz vs Calendly: Booking Link or Lead Follow Up?
Calendly is the better choice if what you need is a scheduler: a polished booking link, up to six connected calendars, routing for a team, CRM integrations and a free plan. Pocket Leadz is the better choice if your problem is the leads who never book, because it puts every new lead and every booking on a board, texts and emails the people who have not booked until they reply, and stops the moment they do.

Who each one is for
Calendly
Anyone who wants people to book time with them, from a solo consultant to a large sales team. Calendly is a scheduling tool first, with contacts, reminders and integrations built around the booked meeting.
Pocket Leadz
Any business that runs ads, forms or a link in bio and needs each lead answered within seconds and chased until it replies or books. You name your own board columns and write your own flows; ready-written flows are included for real estate and mortgage.
What happens to the people who do not book
This is the main difference. Calendly's Workflows start from a booking: new event booked, before or after the meeting, rescheduled, canceled or marked as a no-show. For someone who got your link and did not book, Calendly's paid plans can send a follow-up email after a day, three days or a week, if you sent the link from Calendly. Its recommended follow-ups, which suggest emails for people who have not booked, are in limited availability for select users.
Pocket Leadz is built around those people. A lead from a Facebook form, website form or link in bio page gets a first text and email within seconds inside the hours you set, then a flow of texts, emails and call tasks that keeps going until they reply or book. When they book, the flow stops on its own.
Where a booking ends up
Calendly keeps a contact for the people you meet, and updates it as you schedule. Calendly also has an opportunities pipeline with stages and draggable cards, but it is in limited availability for select users.
In Pocket Leadz, a booking lands as a card on your board, in columns you name for your business. If the person is already a lead, the booking goes on their existing card rather than making a second one. The booking is given to a rep, that rep's phone gets a push, and reminders go out before the meeting.
Texts and replies
Calendly sends texts on paid plans from a toll-free number you cannot choose, invitees must opt in, and replies are not delivered to you. Seats on paid plans get 250 text credits a month (1,000 on Enterprise), and texts to the US and Canada cost no credits.
Pocket Leadz texts from your own number through your own Twilio account, so leads can text back and the reply comes to you as a conversation, with a push to your phone. You pay Twilio's rates and register your number for US texting yourself, with a walkthrough.
Side by side
Calendly's column is taken from the sources at the foot of this page. Where we could not confirm something on Calendly's own pages, the cell says so rather than guessing.
