Pocket Leadz vs Lofty: Front End or Full Platform?
Lofty is the better choice if you want an IDX website, a CRM, AI texting, a dialer and lead generation from one company, and you are happy to get a quote and commit to it. Pocket Leadz is the better choice if you already bring in your own leads from ads, forms or a link in bio page, and you want them answered and chased within seconds for a published monthly price with a free trial. Lofty is a whole platform. Pocket Leadz is the front end that handles the first minutes and the follow up.

Who each one is for
Lofty
Agents, teams and brokerages who want their website, CRM, marketing and lead generation in one place. Lofty (formerly Chime) describes itself as combining lead generation, an intelligent CRM, IDX websites and automation tools, with Smart Plans for automated follow up and a dialer.
Pocket Leadz
Agents who already create their own leads, mostly from Facebook and Instagram lead ads, a website form or a link in bio page, and want each one answered within seconds and followed up until it replies. Pocket Leadz is not an IDX website and does not search listings.
Start with where your leads come from
Lofty's center of gravity is the website. An IDX site lets buyers search listings on your own site, and the people who register there become leads in the CRM. If most of your leads will come from people searching homes on your site, you need IDX, and Pocket Leadz does not have it.
If most of your leads come from your own Facebook or Instagram lead ads, a landing page, open houses or a link in bio page, you may not need an IDX site at all. That is the case Pocket Leadz was built for.
What happens in the first minute
Lofty has a native Facebook lead form connection and a library of ready-made Smart Plans, such as new lead nurture, that you can apply as they are or customize. Smart Plans can be set to run automatically when a lead is created, so Facebook leads can start a plan on their own after you turn that on. Lofty also has an AI Sales Agent that texts leads for you, with a free tier for 10 leads and paid packages from $60 a month for 200 leads.
In Pocket Leadz, the Facebook form's name becomes the lead's tag and picks its flow. The first text and email go out within seconds inside the hours you set, in the lead's own time zone, and the owner's phone gets a push. The flow is written by people, not generated as you go: a starter flow for real estate leads that you read, put in your own words and switch on. It carries on with texts, emails and call tasks until the lead replies, books or is moved on.
Texting setup
Both ask you to register your business for US business texting. In Lofty, you register inside Lofty and pay The Campaign Registry, and Lofty says the fees are not refundable, even if registration fails. In Pocket Leadz, you register through your own Twilio account, with a walkthrough. On both, the carriers decide on approval.

Where Lofty is the better choice
- Your leads come from buyers searching homes on your own website, so you need IDX.
- You want website, CRM, lead generation and a dialer with recording from one company.
- You want an AI assistant texting leads back and forth for you, and to try it free on a few leads.
- You run a team or brokerage that wants one platform for everyone.
Where Pocket Leadz is the better choice
- You bring in your own leads from Facebook and Instagram ads, forms or a link in bio page, and do not need IDX.
- You want a published price and a free trial before you commit.
- You want each Facebook form to start its own written follow up by its name.
- You want every message a lead receives to be one you wrote or approved, with no AI conversation.
- You want a booking page and a link in bio page in the same place.
Using both
Some agents may keep Lofty for the website and its search leads, and use Pocket Leadz for leads from their own social ads. If you do, decide which system owns which leads, because a lead in both may be texted by both. Pocket Leadz can pass each new lead out through Zapier or Make; ask Lofty how it prefers to take leads from another tool, and test with a dummy lead first.

Common questions
Can Pocket Leadz replace Lofty?
Only if you do not need what Lofty is built around: the IDX website, search-based leads, AI texting and the dialer with recording. For an agent whose leads come from their own ads and pages, Pocket Leadz covers capture, follow up, routing and booking.
Does Pocket Leadz use AI to text my leads?
Not in the way an AI sales agent does. The follow up messages are written, and you edit them. When a lead texts back, the flow stops and the conversation comes to your phone. If you switch on the reply helper, a clear yes gets your booking link and "call me" connects a call to you, but questions are never answered automatically; the helper leaves a suggested reply on the card for a person to send or not.
Is Lofty the same as Chime?
Yes. Lofty is the current name of the product formerly sold as Chime.
